HEIDI JANSSEN

Dr Heidi is a Hunter New England Local Health District and Hunter Medical Research Institute affiliated physiotherapist and mid-career clinical stroke researcher working with the community living with stroke to develop and evaluate effective ways for people to self-determine their stroke recovery. Heidi has worked with people living with stroke for over 20years across the entire spectrum of stroke recovery and is currently leading projects on the use of Environmental Enrichment and Conversational Agents to support stroke recovery. Heidi is working with the Aboriginal community on Gomeroi/Gamilaraay lands to develop and evaluate a culturally responsive stroke recovery tool.
