SMART STROKES 2019

Program now available!

Join us in the Hunter Valley for the 14th Australasian Nursing & Allied Health Stroke Conference.

SMART STROKES is excited to announce that the 2019 conference will be held in regional NSW, at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley from the 8-9 August 2019.

SMART STROKES has grown from its inception 15 years ago to a large, successful and respected conference run by clinicians for clinicians. SMART STROKES conferences offer a broad scientific and unique multi-professional dimension, attracting Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Social Workers, Clinical Psychologists, Doctors and those working in the field of research.

The 2019 conference includes keynote presentations from renowned international and national speakers, a scientific program based on peer-reviewed submitted abstracts and ‘hands-on’ workshops and breakfast sessions. The program attracts health professionals working for people at risk of or directly impacted by a stroke event along with decision-makers allocating stroke-related services and funding.

We are looking forward to what will be our best conference yet and we hope to welcome you to the Hunter.
